Updating Your Kindle Book

 

Sometimes we have to do minor updates to our books – maybe there was a spelling mistake or some other information had to be changed. Amazon doesn’t update it for you because you may lose notes or highlights you’ve made that were attached to a certain location in the book, so you’ll need to do it yourself. But don’t worry, it’s not too difficult – just follow the steps below:

 

A Step-by-Step Guide to Updating Your Kindle Book

Do you want to check if there has been an update to your book? Try the following steps:

1. Log in to your Amazon account

2. Hover over your name and choose “Your Content and Devices”

 

3. In the list of books, see if it has “Update available” and click the link.

 

4. Choose “update” – but make sure you have your notes synced, as instructed.
